Congratulations Canada
For once, Canada almost got it right. A Conservative majority would have been great, but a Conservative minority is better than a Liberal government. So I'd like to thank Canadians for their message to the Liberals...12 years of leading this country doesn't mean you can start being fiscally irresponsible, or steal.
Today went really good. And by really good I mean that one of the kids refused to do work until talked to by Gerrit. Finally all the work was done by 1 in the afternoon even though it could have been done by noon. Since I didn't sleep very good last night this was the last thing I needed. It's hard to be patient when sleepy and a little grumpy. Today was also grocery day today. I am quite proud of myself. I kept the bill under 30,000. That's like equivilent to under $20 Canadian. Maybe it's because I thought since I chastised the Liberal governement for fiscal irresponsibility I better exercise some myself. It's quite hot today so the taxi ride back was hot, stuffy, and filled with 16 other people who were just as hot and stuffy. You could probably smell us from where you are sitting. Oh well, it's Africa. Smelling nice isn't high on the list of priorties here. Mainly staying alive past 40 is highest on the list, followed by not being hit by any passing vehicles. Smelling nice comes somewhere after having a home, running water, sewer system, electricty, and food. Well I hope you all have a wonderfully happy day.
God bless
P.S. I forgot to mention that today I saw a Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey on somebody. I think he must have wondered at why i stared so long but I had to be sure that it was in fact a CFL jersey.

Glad to hear of the results of the elections. Listened to the results on the CBC radio station out of Winnipeg. While a Conservative majority would have been great, it could be that Harper will be able to form a coalition with the Bloc and the Dippers(?).
I got to see some video of campaign appearances by Harper and Dithers (Martin). What a bitter, resentful hack. Perhaps the next few years could see a concerted attack on the years of Lib corruption.
We'll see. Adios
